  1. *This column comprises all women who were not approached (Table 1), 58 women who delivered elsewhere and 457 women who were not invited to participate after April 12, 2012 because they were either lifetime abstainers or had not consumed any alcohol since becoming pregnant or planning to be pregnant.

The index was calculated from the 2011 Census of Population and published by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
